Benefit's Finding Mr. Bright

This spring Benefit Cosmetics introduces the new must-have complexion kit, Finding Mr. Bright. This kit contains their top-selling products that brighten, illuminate and radiate your complexion.

I was lucky enough to have a chance to try this set and it was so nice to have all these amazing products in one place, so that I could reach for them when I wanted to radiant glow to my skin! This set is also great if you are new to Benefit and you would like an opportunity to try a few products in smaller sizes before committing to full size products!

-Erase paste is a brightening concealer which has a peachy tone making great for darkness under the eye's etc. The product has a rich texture so I little really does go a long way!!

-Girl Meets Peal is a golden pink liquid pearl. You can use this directly on the skin as a highlighter. My favourite use has become adding a little to my liquid foundation for am amazing glowing and dewy look!

-Posie Tint is a poppy pink tinted lip and cheek stain. This product was perfect for my pale skin tone but if you have a darker tone you may find this one a little light... at least as a cheek tint!

-Last but not least is everyone's favourite High Beam a luminescent complexion enhancer. This product is great for adding a highlight and glow to the high points on your face creating depth to your makeup look!

I am a huge fan of Benefit products and I am always excited when new products or sets are launched! If you love Benefit or are new to the line I think Mr. Bright is a great set to own!!

Benefit Girl Meets Pearl

The POREfessional Pro Balm by Benefit

If you read my blog often you know how I have complained about my oily skin... with this often comes enlarged pores which I have started to notice over time! I have tried several primers and pore minimizers and some have worked a little but I had never found my holy grail so to speak! When I was asked if I would like to try Benefit's new pore minimizing product the POREfessional I jumped at the chance both because I am always looking for a great pore minimizer and because I love Benefit products so much!

When I opened the box this little tube called to me, it's kitschy and cute and something I wanted to display. I know packaging isn't everything, but I really liked it non the less! On to the important things now I guess... does it work?!

I am so pleased to say that I found great results with this product. I was sure to apply it by smoothing it gently over my enlarged pores and not rubbing in the product too much. You want it to cover the pores leaving a seamless look. This product also doubles as a primer as it is very efficient, especially for traveling! There is a fragrance to this product which is very lovely, I did find it a little strong at first seeing as many of my enlarged pores are around my nose, but I have grown accustomed to it and actually really enjoy the fresh scent it provides!
