Babies and Beauty

There was a time when I would not leave the house without my hair done and at least mascara and lipgloss on. I spent time at my makeup table playing and creating looks several times a week just for fun. I organized my products constantly and tried every product as soon as I bought them.

Now with a 3 month old and 4 year old things are a little different. I am often running out of the house in a messy ponytail and just moisturizer. I sit at my makeup table for a moment to make sure it looks like a got a   little bit of sleep the night before and am excited if mascara and lipgloss make it on to my face for a big day out. My makeup table is a mess and I have a drawer full of products I need to test to blog posts.

Would I trade it for anything.... no. I only wish there were more hours in the day so I could get more accomplished. Makeup is still my passion and I love to sit down with my coffee in the morning reading all the recent posts from my favourite bloggers. I know I be able to get back into the groove soon and find time to play, until then I am happy when people say I look rested because to be honest it is still the power of makeup!! hehehe

For all those of you who have asked here is a picture of the newest addition to my family!

OMG I know the feeling! I have a 4yr old and a 14month old. Now that the Baby sleeps thru the night, gives me a chance to just let them sleep while I get myself ready and apply my makeup for work. Then if I invest too much time into it I find myself dragging them out of bed trying to get them dressed within the last 15 minutes before we have to head out. But they are boys, they dont have to look cute - they just have to be dressed! lol they are easy. ;0) I am just glad theat I have the time for myslef again because its awful when you lose that, especially when you are one who loves Makeup! Remember to try and make time for yourself...
